Like its kin, Little Shop of Horrors, this new musical has resurrected its story from one of the all-time great "B" Movies, the 1936 propaganda film of the same name. Murphy and Studney have concocted one of the most hysterical musicals in recent memory. Playing off the propaganda style, the author’s book and music walks the line perfectly, leading their audience down a comic spiral staircase to hell. Beck’s production of Reefer Madness will be the inaugural U.S. production, coming after the Los Angeles premiere and subsequent Off-Broadway run!
